Welcome to the Build Spotlight, and prepare to adjust your size attribute today, we're jumping into the rancid depths of the Rat City, only on BeaconSMP, so stay tuned!  

 

Underneath the glamourous builds and sprawling landscapes that make up the overworld on BeaconSMP, a dark (and dirty) secret lies beneath the cover of dirt and stone, the smelly Rat City.

 

After a experiment turning players into different mobs and changing their sizes went horribly wrong, our server builder, Light_Caster embraced the change, and recruited many of our players to join his clan, the SRATs (Sewer Rats Are Terrific), and created an entire sewer system to live in.

 

The sewers consist of a labyrinth of claustrophobic tunnels, dingy dark water, and creeping mold and fungus, with the stench sometimes being so unbearable to players, we have had at least 2 unconfirmed reports of instant death.

 

But hidden below the sewers lies a surprising secret! Since the sewers are being randomly raided by AARSA light_caster has come up with a clever solution: Make a secret bunker underneath the sewers!

This underground safe-house has the best security that trash can buy, and the only way to access it is through a system of tiny pipes that only the tiniest players can fit through, plus a sign that says "KEEP OUT" in very angry letters. 

 

 

The secluded safehouse also holds one more treasure, a relic of the past, the very first World Eddit Axe! No image is present since according to SRAT law, the World Eddit Axe a cultural icon and damaging it in the slightest would result in the world collapsing into an AARSA run hellscape.  

Needless to say, that would be bad for the server. 

Be warned though, if you have plans to visit Rat City, you won't be able to see half of the glorious waste management system, since most of the cracks and crevices are only a quarter of a block wide, wide enough for a rat to get through, but not a smelly human.

 

To get to rat city, hop on the server, type in /warp RatCity, and pinch your nose!

Of course, our sewer haunting clientele don't live in complete serenity...

A small group of angry players, who stayed normal sized have formed a clan with a vendetta against our bite-sized players, called AARSA (Association Against Random Sewer Animals)

 

The AARSA has gone on a killing spree, murdering  an unthinkable number of rats (3 - 4), and have been accused by the SRAT clan of ratticide.  Further bulletins as events warrant.
